Do idiots have to exist?

I know that I am supposed to be doing my homework, but I just have to write this down because it totally made my day...possibly my whole week!
Well, I was walking with my friend to the bus station so that we could get to the parking lot where my car is. We had to walk through the art building, well the performance area anyway, but before you go in, there is a dumpster (this is in the back) that is surrounded by a large cement wall. Leaning on one side of the wall was a man, a bit older in age, but not that old.
Anyway, as we were walking past, one of the maintenance guys stopped his little truck and got out, walking toward the other man. When he got to the first man, I saw him give the first a single red rose.
It totally made me smile...even if it seemed to creep my friend out a little (but who cares what he thinks any way?).
I am just sad that I missed the protest on campus the other day. It was to protest the act that was just passed in my state that keeps any unmarried couple from adopting or foster parenting orphaned children (though it was mostly to keep gays from it). I voted against it, but when I saw that it passed, I cried.
It is just not fair to have children left without a loving home, simply because people have such a bias against the gay community. I mean if a couple is qualified to adopt or foster, than they should be able to regardless of orientation, at least for the child's sake. But you can be sure that I will be at the next one!!

So here is the thing...I am not at ALL experienced in relationships, in fact, I have never actually been in one. It doesn't bother me too much, but when someone shows a little interest, well, it's flattering.

I am by no means a model. I am a bit on the round side, but I have always been able to carry it well. Boys, however, have never been that interested. So at the beginning of the semester, a guy, who will go by the name of Darren here, asked me for my number. I thought 'sure, what could it hurt?'...but I kind of got my creep vibe when he called me not two hours later.

But, I ignored it, thinking that I was just being dumb. Well, almost a week later, when he asked to come over to study for our midterm in the class we have together I said alright.

Well, I guess that I was so inexperienced and shocked when he began to kiss and touch, that I didn't outright say 'no', though I should have. I did, however, have my aunt (who I live with) help me get rid of him in a less blunt manner. I felt so dirty and used when he left that I knew that what he did was not anything that I wanted and I knew when he avoided me and never called that he didn't get what he wanted.

During my last class period, I noticed him moving in on another girl that I have met a few times. She is a lot like me, and I don't want to see her get taken advantage of, but at the same time, I am not looking for any type of backlash (or any other type of attention) from him.

So I am at a cross roads. Tell her to watch out...or not. I am so not sure.

My laptop has a virus and keeps crashing every five minutes!!

My homework...I can get that back fine! Not much to get, but I have lost the very thing that has given me meaning!! 

I LOST ALL MY FINISHED FANFICTION CHAPTERS!!!!! DX

I was so devistated when I went to go get them off onto a flashdrive and could not find them anywhere!! I don't know what to do with myself!!

I am just so sad. 

Falls into another DEEP depression.

Yeah, so I went to the University law library today to get a few books for my ethics paper on euthanasia. Well, the thing is that the library has a different check out system that I have never seen before. 

So there I am, standing there amongst a bunch of law students, looking like a total dork because I can't figure out how to check out a stupid book. So, of course, I had to ask one of them to help me, making me look like even more of an idiot than before. 

Yeah...so I am indeed a moron. Thank you.

At least I got my books...but I am not looking forward to when I have to check them back in. T-T

 Totally gave my two weeks notice today.

Got an email from my school telling me that if I let my "C" in Biology drop any farther that I would loose my scholarship. Sucks ass!

Anyway, I will finish out two weeks even though they said I didn't have to. The hell I don't. It's only fair that I give them plenty of time to find a replacement. Plus there is my one sense of honor, but who has one of those these days?

Oh, well. I'll miss that paycheck, though.

 So I was sick today and didn't go to class or work. I really didn't have anything to do, so I started watching videos on youtube. 
Well I just happened to come across a video of George Carlin, and from that moment on, I was captivated. This man is a comic genius. He may have a few pionts that I find not so funny, but I am laughing too hard at the other things to care.

Yeah, so I just found out that one of the teachers that I knew at my former high school got arrested the other day...for having sexual relations with one of her students. Sure he was 18, but still. It's creepy.

Not only that, but she was pregnant recently. Wonder whose kid that was??  *snicker*

Who knows!

 Happy super-duper-love-hate-tell-him-that-you-are-pregnant-and-cry-all-night-because-he-wants-to-break-it-off-now day!!!

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeealy hope that everyone has a nice one, even those like me who would only have a date if you were stalking some poor innocent dude. Anyway... love and hugs all around!! <3
